The 9th Summer Academy , was organised by the Euracademy Association in cooperation with the University of Oulu, Lönnrot Institute and LAG Living Kainuu Leader, on the theme of “Social Innovation and Sustainable Rural Development” in Karhulanvaara, Suomussalmi, Finland and took place on the 27th June - 4th July 2010. The Academy brought together 36 people from 9 European countries. A report of the event will be uploaded soon.
The 8th Summer Academy , organised by the Euracademy Association on the theme of “Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development: an integrated approach” in San Marco dei Cavoti, Benevnto, Italy, was hosted by the CNR-IBIMET and Fondazione LEE IACOCCA. The Academy brought together 40 people from 12 European countries.
The 7th Summer Academy , organised by the Euracademy Association, on the theme “Sustainable 2020 for Rural Environment in Europe”, took place between 16-24 August 2008 in Želimlje, Slovenia. The 6th Summer Academy , organised by the Euracademy Association, on the theme “Culture and Sustainable Rural Development” took place in Chania, island of Crete, Greece between 17th - 26th August 2007 at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania.
